Heather and Jim Anderson bought The House of Tartan in 2007.
With the largest range of hire kilts available here in Perth, we are growing continuously. We have a range of items for sale in the shop, and if we don't have it on the shelf, we can usually bring it in from Scotland for you.
Along with our Kilt Hires and miscellaneous retail sales, we offer a high quality kiltmaking service. Kilts are made here on the premises from 100% pure wool milled in Scotland.
In 1995 Greg and Mandy Chapman started this kilt hire business and it has not stopped growing since then.
Our aim is to provide the Scottish, Irish, Welsh and Cornish communities here in Western Australia with a helpful and quality service.
We are able to source tartans, tartan products, regalia and novelty items direct from suppliers in Scotland and other regions of the United Kingdom.

Whether you are 3 months old, or 6'6" tall with size 16 shoes, we can make you look amazing for that special occasion.

High quality alterations done to kilts on the premises here. Please bring the kilt in with the wearer and Heather will advise what the plan of action will be to get the kilt fitting.
Alterations start at $5 per buckle for repositioning.
Inserting pleats and / or replacing front apron/s need to be discussed with Heather.

Cancer Foundation
Tartan bandanas sold here in store for $10 with all proceeds donated to the Cancer Council of WA. Small pieces of Tartan wool are available from the shop here in Menora for a donation as well. I send around $250 every couple of months to this charity with these donations and purchases, so thanks to all.

Getting Dressed on the Day
The House of Tartan Perth Kilt HIre offers a free service to come to the groom's place of dressing in the Perth Metro area (outside of shop open hours) to ensure that the wedding party is dressed to perfection. Arrangements can be made through our friendly staff. Another alternative is to have the group dress at the shop here in Menora if it is during shop open hours.
